On January 16th, 18 members of One Reverse Mortgage travelled from our offices in San Diego, to attend the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. the Los Angeles Clippers game at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

A fun filled two hour bus ride ensued, being with the staff outside of the office is always a treat. Professionally we all respect each other for our abilities, but seeing a more human side of our staff is always a welcome treat.

If one has never been to the Staple Center, it is one of the newer sports arena’s in the United States and was really awe inspiring walking thorugh the front doors, statues of Los Angeles’s sports stars line the front entrance. Oscar Dela Hoya, Magic Johnson, Wayne Gretzky to name a few. The arena itself from the inside is enormous. I have been to many arena’s, but this one was by far the most luxurious and well designed place that I have ever stepped foot into. I will have to see about going there for a hockey game to see how much different the environment is.

The game came down to the final 6 seconds. Baron Davis missed what could have been the potential game winning shot for the Los Angeles Clippers. It was nice to be able to see Lebron James and Shaquille O’Neal up close and personal from our courtside seats.

After this holiday weekend, we’ll be buckled down to provide our clients once again, stellar service going forward in 2010.
