What is Retiring Wise?

This blog is being written by friends, family, and team members of One Reverse Mortgage. We have many years of experience in the reverse mortgage industry and also have interacted with thousands of seniors and their children over the years. Our breadth of knowledge in the senior financial industry inspired us to create Retiringwise.com to not only impart information about Reverse Mortgages, but to also share stories of things people have done wisely either preparing for or during their retirement.

There are a number of different ways to save money, enjoy retirement, or become part of the community. It is sad to see retirees having nothing to do, but stay at home and becoming inactive. Our discussions on this site will hopefully bring ideas about how to make retirement more enjoyable.

If we can give helpful information along the way, make someone laugh, or bring back memories of the past, then we feel like we have done our part. Society is made up of everyone around us and we should honor the ones that helped carry this society on their backs to where we are now. Life is too short to do nothing in it.
